I’m Lennie, and I’m the creative behind Ink & Heart Studio. I live on the edge of the Peak District with my husband and my two fur babies. And I have a little obsession with paper.

My heartfelt congratulations to you – because if you’re reading this, it means you’re engaged to be married, and you’re about to embark on one of the most special journeys in life.

With many years’ experience in the wedding industry, I understand more than just paper and ink – I understand weddings. I understand the small details, the things that matter, the things that likely don’t – I have lived and breathed weddings for almost 15 years.

Above all, I understand how utterly overwhelming it can be to plan a wedding, and that couples should feel supported by the suppliers they have chosen to put their trust in. It’s not something us wedding suppliers take for granted – one thing that unites us is our striving to help you have the day (and wedding journey!) you dream of.

I am a romantic at heart, and drawn to the details, the little things. In nature, and in everyday life; it’s the same way I design and craft stationery – with ink and heart.

Hopefully, what’s important to me is important to you too – the joy of receiving something beautiful and tangible (never digital - sorry, not sorry!), a personal service, authentic creativity crafted for you by a real human, and all in the most sustainable way possible.

Lennie has been an absolute pleasure to work with, she was very communicative back and forth with the many emails I sent her and she designed my invitations perfectly to what I had imagined.

Creating, responsibly

It’s hugely important to us, as A design studio and a user of natural materials, that we do so as responsibly and sustainably as possible.

This isn’t lip service, it’s something we wholeheartedly believe in, and it’s a core value of our business.

In practical terms, this looks like:

printing on FSC-certified papers, which means papers from responsible sources
reusing packaging from our suppliers as much as possible, so we’re not creating more waste
using recyclable materials such as paper packing tape and compostable cellophane
making a conscious decision not to use plastics such as acrylic as a product offering
designing and printing to maximise use of paper and card and using offcuts where possible
always using recycling schemes for our used ink cartridges
selecting our suppliers with eco-conscious values in keeping with our own
using wax for our wax seals that does not contain beeswax
